Treat yourself and come and glamp with us in 'The Shepherds Cwtch' - a romantic retreat (sleeps 2) overlooking the lake with an outside deck, camp kitchen and field shelter with seating.  It is fully insulated and has double-glazing with a central stable door directly overlooking the lake.  Guests will have exclusive access to the attached 'Field Shelter' area and can also share the communal facilities.

 The Shepherds Cwtch is really cosy and well appointed plus enjoys stunning views (even whilst lying in bed). It has everything you need for basic food preparation and cooking, plus an outdoor camp kitchen and BBQ area.

The toilet blocks are heated with free showers and there is a washing up station to make cleaning up easier with hot running water.

There is outdoor lighting for alfresco dining, but to be honest sitting out in the dark looking at the stars is equally enjoyable.

There is lots of local wildlife to enjoy including red kites, woodpeckers, herons, egrets and wild rabbits.  There is also a duck which regularly visits the lake and we have also seen a peregrine falcon.

​

There are plenty of great walks and cycling directly from the site plus local shops but Lampeter and Carmarthen are also close by.

​

The coast is a twenty five minute drive away and there are lots of beautiful beaches and coves to explore.
